Studies In Shadow

My current body of work is an exploration of shadow as both a visual and emotional dimension. Centered around black-and-white photographs and monochromatic drawings rendered in black ink and charcoal, these pieces embrace the raw contrast between light and dark. Texture plays a pivotal role, each surface becomes a terrain where form dissolves into tone, and absence is as evocative as presence. This series is not just about what is seen, but what is suggested in the space between.
